Navneet Johal
Navneet Johal is an Associate Analyst for Education Technology. She conducts primary and secondary research on the use of technology in education institutions, writes analyst reports, forecasts IT expenditure by education institutions, and provides consulting and advisory services to leading technology companies. Her primary analytical focus is on the usage of technology and services to support teaching and learning within the educational context, including both “bricks & mortar” and virtual environments, and she has a particular interest in how technology can improve pedagogy.
Prior to joining Ovum, Navneet was a lecturer in Government & Politics and Sociology at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College. While the primary focus of Navneet’s work was teaching and mentoring, she also researched the use of technology in the classroom and contributed online resources to staff and student portals. Furthermore, she enhanced the quality of teaching and learning in the department through sharing resources and good practice.
Navneet holds a PGCE (Post Compulsory Education) from the University of Wolverhampton and a BA (Hons) in Politics from Nottingham Trent University.
