Saurabh Sharma

Saurabh is a Senior Analyst with Ovum IT and is a member of Ovum’s IT Solutions team. He focuses on service-oriented architecture and IT integration. Saurabh has over five years of industry experience in software development and technology research.

Prior to joining Ovum, Saurabh worked with IBM as part of the Market Insights team and focused on driving growth for its cloud computing business. Earlier, he worked as a consultant for a major research and advisory firm and focused on communications service provider business strategy. The key areas he covered included application programming interfaces, m-payment, telecoms software and hardware, application stores, and network cost savings potential.

Saurabh also has experience in software development and was engaged in the development of base transceiver station software for Nokia Siemens Networks at Aricent (erstwhile Hughes Software Systems).

Saurabh completed a Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) with honours in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, in 2006.
